New York residents love the flea market in the summertime if you are looking for vintage furniture, a good bargain, clothes, handicrafts, antiques, or nice snacks. There are quite a few flea markets around New York City and a five-borough area. The oldest Flea market is Brooklyn Flea at Fort Greene, and you can pretty much find tons of stuff. If you are in the neighborhood and want to learn more about the New Yorker, probably visiting a flea market is the best idea.
